Thru organization and planning, it was soon clear to us that we could build a quality custom home from four hundred miles away. We found that Mike Page had a very good relationship with the vendors and sub-contractors. Good communication was very important to allow us to follow the construction progress. My wife and I were very pleased to see the superb quality of workmanship in framing, exterior and interior trim, brick and siding and most of all the interior trim and paint. The final punch-out and cleaning were done with good attention to detail.

Mike Page completed our new home at River Landing in early September, 2007. It was on time and on budget. Our punch list had two items - electrical outlets in the floor of the Great Room (waiting for us to position our furniture) and some cabinet shelves in the hallway (delayed due to the death of our master cabinetmaker's father). Our new home far exceeded our expectations. Mike worked closely with our architect and made many suggestions which improved the livability and energy efficiency of our home (at little or no cost to us). The crews that worked on the house were professional craftsmen and craftswomen who were a joy to work with. I don't believe any other home builder in the area has as skilled and knowledgeable teams working for them. We thoroughly enjoy our new home and certainly consider Mike not only a master builder but also a valued friend in our community. As an added bonus, we have met many of the other owners of home built by Mike. We have the common bond that we have what we consider the best built homes in the area.

Even though our house in River Landing would be the 7th house we’ve owned, since this would be the last one, we wanted to make sure it would be special. Having purchased the River Landing lot several years before we were ready to build, we had plenty of time to think about what we wanted. When it came time to start the building process, the next major step was to select the builder. After interviewing 5-6 builders, all with impressive credentials, we came away with the feeling that Mike Page of H.J. Page, Inc. not only understood what we wanted but could bring all of our ideas to life. During our meeting with Mike, we were equally impressed with the fact that he pointed out things on our “wish list” that he felt would be either impractical or would have a substantial impact on the final cost of our “dream house”. His doing this before a contract was signed was not lost on us. During the construction phase, our faith in Mike was even more justified. Even though we were 1,000 miles away, we always felt involved in the process. Mike was always available to answer questions and provide updates. Whenever an issue arose that required our attention, we always got an explanation and, if necessary, several options (with the cost of each) that we could choose from. During on-site visits, Mike never got flustered when we requested that some thing be changed or revised. His coordination of the paperwork required by River Landing and the Town of Wallace was extremely helpful. Any follow-up after we moved in has been addressed as soon as possible. One email is all it takes, not a series of phone calls. We are very pleased with our new home and would strongly recommend H.J. Page, Inc to anyone looking to build in River Landing.
